An electrical conceptual FEED study for the grid connection for the Haiding I and Haiding II offshore wind farm including array and export cable layout. The study included grid calculations, single-line development and preliminary subsea export cable calculations based on burial depths of 6.5m and 12m. Budgetary cost estimates for the fabrication of a 425MW and a 850MW offshore substation were developed for the client, based on preliminary weight estimates.
Competences and systems
- Preliminary single-line and grid calculations based on different scenarios
- Preliminary subsea export cable calculations based on burial depths of 6.5m and 12m
- Preliminary weight and cost estimates for a 425MW and a 850MW offshore substation including foundations
Highlights
- The electrical FEED study was delivered within time and budget
- High engineering performance delivered within a short time span
- Positive customer feedback on technical capability
